  • Maria manaog

    EDITOR IN CHIEF - SF/BAY AREA

    Homegrown in Chandler, Arizona, Maria traded the desert for the bay over one year ago to pursue a new chapter of life in San Francisco. Always with a hand in every pot, she is building up a career in Educational Technology, where she hopes to work on solutions geared towards social innovation. She drafted the first plan for Club Rambutan on the last day of Summer 2022 on a couch somewhere in Atlanta, hoping to build something meaningful that helps early creatives to continue believing in themselves. When not working, you can find her writing Yelp reviews like her life depends on it.

    Jasmin Lily is an Iranian-american artist dedicated to building a future where creative careers are more accessible.

    She holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and studio art from Arizona State University and is an incoming Industrial Design Master’s student at Pratt Institute.

    TALENT SPECIALIST - BLV

    Sam Daly is a life long PNW resident currently based in Bellevue, WA. She has a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and advertising, along with a minor in business management. She is currently pursuing careers in graphic design, museum curation and guest services, as well as specialty coffee. In her free time Sam enjoys hand poke tattooing, collaging, reading, and enjoying nature.

  • Sam Winans

    EVENT COORDINATOR - PHX

    Sam is a Latine self-taught analog photographer & storyteller based in Phoenix, Arizona. Sam is a 2024 Artists to Work Grant recipient through the City of Phoenix and is currently working on their community integration project that is set to be completed the fall of 2024. Sam also holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Graphic Information Technology. Although they do have a technical background, their heart holds true to their pursuit in art and art making. In their free time they love watching films, writing film reviews on Letterboxd, listening to roaring shoegaze music, and playing around in procreate.

  • DOMINIQUE HALLAK

    SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

    Dominique Hallak, originally from San Diego, now spends her time between Brooklyn and Phoenix while pursuing a master's in clinical mental health counseling. She captures life's moments through photography, drawing inspiration from 2000s rom-coms and her mother’s old digital camera. Dominique uses her lens to connect with personal stories, find new smiles, and celebrate the beauty in every shared experience.

  • Riley Wagner

    GRAPHIC DESIGNER - PHX

    Riley Wagner is 20 years old, a Libra Sun, Capricorn Moon, and Gemini Rising. She is currently a junior at Arizona State University studying Graphic Design and Fashion. A few of her favorite things are Thai food, Studio Ghibli movies, Pop Mart blind boxes, and Lil Yachty. She has always loved magazines and loves designing Club Rambutans zine.

  • Adam Corona

    MANAGING EDITOR - PHX

    Adam Corona is Club Rambutan’s newest Phoenix, AZ based managing editor. Adam comes to Club Rambutan with a background in visual arts, and journalism. Aside from writing for Club Rambutan, Adam also owns and operates BrassTuna. Adam is currently studying photography and hopes to further explore the ideas of culture and identity through their lens.

  • Thrisha Veda

    WEB DESIGNER - PHX

    Thrisha is Club Rambutan’s new website designer, with a background in industrial design, brand identities, and interaction design. Alongside her work at Club Rambutan, Thrisha contributes to an industrial design magazine and freelances in design services. Growing up in the Bay Area has given her a love of nature and anthropology. This passion for sustainability and human connection is often integrated into her projects. Her free time is spent thrifting, constantly listening to music, and oogling interior designs.

    NEWSLETTER DESIGNER - PHX

    Percy is a multi-media designer and synth freak based in Phoenix, Arizona. Inspired by all things DIY they like to spend their time collecting knick-knacks and scrap electronics to mash into something sickening. Being a plant lover they always like to contrast their project with natural elements.

  • Kim Alexis Adversario

    ORGANIZATIONAL GRANT WRITER - PHX

    Kim Alexis (they/she) grew up in Surprise, Arizona before living in Downtown Phoenix for the past seven years. As a Filipino, this identity has guided their passions in international politics and cultural revolutions.

    They feel lucky to be surrounded by local creatives and grassroots organizers who have continuously inspired them by paving the way toward the better world we are building for ourselves and our communities.

    Kim's big three: Libra sun, Capricorn moon, Scorpio rising. When they're not at work, they are either at a concert, updating their letterboxd, or destroying their future Spotify Wrapped.

    Felix is the SF Managing Editor for Club Rambutan. He is a creative that specializes in photography, videography, and illustration. In his spare time, you’ll find him thrifting, eating, or hiking in the Bay.

  • SAVANNAH MILES

    ARTIST GRANT WRITER - C’VILLE

    eSavannah Miles is originally from Seattle, but she has found herself living all over the world. Having completed her undergraduate degree in history at Grand Canyon University, Savannah moved to Liverpool, England to attend a postgraduate program and study international slavery studies. She now lives in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she plans to work in museums and universities as a public historian. She loves traveling, nostalgia, bird watching, trinket collecting, and long walks.

    EVENT COORDINATOR - SF/BAY AREA

    Born in D.C. and raised in the Bay Area, Sonia graduated from San Francisco State with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Race & Resistance Studies. Some little things that make her happy are her hula hoops, ghost stories, and chess in the park. As for creative outlets, she is fond of essay writing and collaging.

    Ricky Chen (He/They) is an SF-based designer and freelance photographer from Stockton, California. Having graduated with a B.A. in Cognitive Science and a minor in Data Science from UC Berkeley, he enjoys capturing the world through photography, crafting unique wheel-thrown pottery, and cultivating a diverse plant collection.
