I am an artist born in Germany, living and working in Staffordshire, United Kingdom. Within my artwork, I use oil painting to explore matters of the heart, focusing primarily on the connections between material culture and identity. I am interested in how personal possessions can contribute to our identity, and sense of self, and how our identity can manifest within our possessions. I aim to combine still-life and portraiture utilising a colourful and distorted painting style to invoke feelings of nostalgia tangled with unease. In my artwork, I aim to follow my obsessions, sharing my experiences with anyone willing to listen, hoping to speak to their souls.

I’m Destiny Ann Montoya, a collage artist based in Phoenix, Arizona, originally from Durango, Colorado. I’m pursuing a degree in Museum Studies at Arizona State University with the goal of becoming a curator in contemporary art. My work explores themes of womanhood, sex, relationships, and identity through symbolic visuals. I advocate for a feminist and queer approach to curation, and as a writer, I experiment with stream-of-consciousness to capture the ephemeral. I also contribute to ENVY Magazine as a writer.

Hi! My name is Marisa, I am a transdisciplinary artist, researcher and cybernymph based in London, UK. My work focuses on concepts of body and identity, expressing ethereal feminist ideals through digital and sculptural media. I am currently developing a PhD on revising the ancient archaeological sites of Pompeii through cyberfeminist and queer lenses. Xx 🎐✨🫧🍥⚙️🕯️

My work explores collective struggle, generational trauma, and sex/gender through the lens of abstractions, scientific illustration, and nature. Automatism is greatly prioritized in the process with mood, self-reflection, and music as a guide - determining the tone and direction of the pieces over time.

I am a native Bay Area photographer/filmmaker surveying topics of human connection! I am largely influenced by my good friends and family and hope to serve them through all of my artistic projects. I could not be more excited to be a contributor to Club Rambutan’s third issue and provide a piece of myself!

Hi! My name is Emilia Nawrocki and i'm a multidisciplinary artist based in Detroit. I earned my BFA at Wayne State University. My work revolves around themes of identity, religious trauma, human evolution, and feminist beliefs through references to mythology and storytelling. In my free time, I love to watch trashy reality tv, collect monkey-themed items, and annoy my cat.
-
I'm Isabel Li, an illustrator, oil painter, and writer, tracing love and all its orbiting constituents through my work. I often have my head in the clouds crossing the Pacific Ocean between San Francisco and my birthplace, Tamaki Makaurau. Lately I've been following frumpy cats through bookstore aisles, wheezing against Chinatown's paved inclines, and eating fruit on the floor with my best friend.
